Sweating is a normal physiological process that occurs with physical exertion or due to heat.
Excessive sweating is successfully treated by injecting botulinum toxin type A subcutaneously into the affected area thus reducing the activity of the sweat glands.
An anesthetic cream is applied before the treatment , and the treatment is repeated 2-3 times a year. Immediately after the treatment, it is possible to return to daily activities.
Excessive sweating in the armpit can be successfully cured permanently by laser ablation of the sweat glands. The procedure itself is performed under local anesthesia and lasts about half an hour. Return to daily activities is possible the next day.
Usually one procedure is enough for the optimal result, however, in extreme cases, the procedure can be repeated after 2-3 months.
